This truly interactive first book combines block play with music and animal sounds to encourage exploration and discovery - and to involve your baby in the fun of reading.
Babies turn a page and press the storybook button to hear the story read aloud. They insert the block into the book to hear the names and sounds of the animal on that side of the block. Or little ones press the Tad button to hear a fun song.
Chunky book pages are the perfect size for little hands, and a latch keeps the block inside the book when your baby isn't using it.
The actual item may vary from the photographs and/or illustrations.
What it Teaches -
The StoryBlock Book introduces numbers 1-5, matching, and animal names and sounds.
Logic -
Logic refers to valid reasoning or to a system of reasoning used to draw correct conclusions. Children use logic in everyday situations (e.g., determining cause-and-effect relationships) and in mathematical problem solving. Children begin to develop logic skills as newborns, and expand upon their understanding as they get older.
Math -
Children learn important mathematical concepts and processes in the areas of numbers and operations (e.g., addition, division), algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis and probability, and math reasoning (e.g., recognizing and describing connections between problems). Children begin to develop math skills as infants and expand upon their understanding as they get older.
Creativity & Music -
Music helps develop a child's imagination and creativity — and provides a fun, rewarding learning experience. Music stimulates a newborn's brain, creating pathways for future learning, such as speech. Exposing children to music also enhances long-term ability to perform higher brain mathematical functions, and it encourages movement, self-expression and social interactions.
